AMSTERDAM, NY, Monday, August 7, 2017 – Alpin Haus, one of the Northeast’s largest, family-owned, independent RV retailers and a name synonymous with outdoor family recreation, has appointed Nicole Heck as manager of the Alpin Haus Fitness Center in Amsterdam, NY.
Nicole Heck will oversee the daily operations of the Alpin Haus Fitness Center, including the development of health, wellness, and fitness programs; scheduling; community outreach; and member relations.
A fitness enthusiast and daughter of Alpin Haus President Andy Heck, Nicole Heck has been a member of the Alpin Haus team for the past 11 years. She previously worked in a management role at a health club, as well as the alumni relations department at Siena College. She is a graduate of Siena College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
“I’m proud to see Nicole take on a leadership role within our family business and I know she has the skill set to take the Alpin Haus Fitness Center to the next level,” said Andy Heck. “She is extremely goal oriented and will be able help every member or employee achieve their health and wellness goals.”
Nicole Heck is an avid runner and is currently training for her second marathon. She is an active volunteer with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless; and currently serves as Board Secretary for the Sean Craig Memorial Fund, Inc.
The Alpin Haus Fitness Center is a full-service facility featuring spinning, hot yoga, aerobics, free weights, circuit training, cardio equipment and personal training. It is located at 4852 Route 30N in Amsterdam, NY. Hours are 4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 4:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday; 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday; and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
