Caitlin Cortelyou serves as communications counsel and assists with media relations efforts for the firm’s diverse client roster. She is responsible for contributing to the public relations and marketing strategy for clients, including the oversight of written content produced by the agency. She effectively communicates each organization’s message to the public through strategic communications, story placement and the coordination of press conferences and media events.
Prior to joining ELA, Caitlin spearheaded the public relations efforts for one of the Capital Region’s leading full-service law firms. During her tenure, she directed the firm’s local and national communications efforts and coordinated stories linking attorneys with journalists in major media markets from Albany, N.Y. to Washington, D.C.
A native of New England, Caitlin found her way to New York by attending The College of Saint Rose, where she studied public communications. She is proud to call Albany home and spends her time outside the office practicing yoga, creating new dishes in the kitchen, and planning her next travel adventure.
