NYRA names Uber official ridesharing partner of Saratoga Race Track

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced Uber as the official ridesharing partner of the 2017 meet at Saratoga Race Course, which begins on Friday, July 21 and runs for 40 days through Labor Day, Monday, September 4.

The partnership will offer guests convenient access to affordable and reliable transportation to and from track grounds. 

“The New York Racing Association is pleased to partner with Uber to make it easier than ever for racing fans to enjoy a day at the Spa,” said New York Racing Association Senior Vice President and Chief Experience Officer Lynn LaRocca. “We encourage all of our guests to travel responsibly, and are excited by this new transportation option via ridesharing with Uber.”

This summer, guests will have the opportunity to take advantage of a convenient Uber Pickup Zone after enjoying events such as the Whitney on Saturday, August 5, and the Travers on Saturday, August 26. Uber will be featured within the official NYRA XP mobile app to make transportation a seamless part of the experience. The partnership will also include exposure across Saratoga Race Course’s Daily Digital LED tote board and transportation page on www.NYRA/com/Saratoga.
