HANNAFORD AND LAKE MONSTERS TO HOST FOOD DRIVE JULY 13

Fans who bring at least one bag of non-perishable items will receive a free grandstand ticket to a future Lake Monsters home game

BURLINGTON, Vt. – Hannaford Supermarkets and the Vermont Lake Monsters will team up to support hunger relief efforts during a food drive at the home game against the Batavia Muckdogs on Saturday, July 13. The collection will begin when gates open at 5 p.m. The game starts at 6:05 p.m.

Fans attending the game are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item, which will be donated to the community food shelf Aunt Dot’s Place. The collection will take place at the Hannaford table located inside the front gate on the main concourse.

Fans who donate at least one bag of non-perishable items will receive a voucher redeemable for one grandstand ticket to one of the following Lake Monsters home games during the 2019 season: July 22; August 7; and August 29. The voucher may be redeemed at the Centennial Field box office.

“Hannaford is committed to fighting hunger within the communities we serve and we are honored to partner with the Lake Monsters on this initiative,” said Hannaford Supermarkets Community Relations Specialist Brian Fabre. “We encourage baseball fans to join us for a night of action on the field while supporting Aunt Dot’s Place.”
