ALBANY, N.Y. – Stuyvesant Plaza, Inc. today announced that the landmark property Executive Park Tower at Stuyvesant Plaza will welcome its first tenant to the newly renovated office building which has been upgraded to offer Class A amenities for area businesses.
Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union (Alloya), which provides critical cooperative services to 1,500 member credit unions throughout the country, will occupy 12,797 square feet on the fourth floor of Executive Park Tower beginning October 14.
The arrival of Alloya follows a multi-million dollar capital investment project at Executive Park Tower, which began in January 2013. Located adjacent to Stuyvesant Plaza, Executive Park Tower is a Class A facility designed to attract an assortment of private area companies and firms to Albany.

Based in Warrenville, Illinois with additional offices in Southfield, Michigan and Covina, California, Alloya has operated an Albany office since 1977. The Executive Park Tower office will house 35 employees from the Alloya team.
“Moving to Stuyvesant Plaza and signing a long-term lease will allow us to continue to serve credit union members at the highest level for the foreseeable future,” said Timothy Bruculere, senior vice president for Alloya. “This facility will also provide new amenities to staff, including a central location to highways, and of course, walking distance to great shops and restaurants.”
The 10-story iconic steel and glass office building underwent a multi-million dollar renovation and rehabilitation project following the departure of the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services (NYSDCJS) in December 2012, when the agency, which occupied nearly 90 percent of the tower, relocated to the Alfred E. Smith Building in downtown Albany as part of the state’s ongoing restacking initiative.
The building was gutted and renovated with new ceilings, floors, lights, heating and electrical systems and other amenities. Other features include a first-class lobby, state-of-the-art destination dispatch elevators, an oversized freight elevator, and a new energy recovery ventilator system. Available office spaces are being customized to meet the specifications and needs of incoming tenants.
Executive Park Tower is immediately adjacent to Stuyvesant Plaza, the Capital Region’s premier lifestyle shopping center featuring over 55 retail stores, including ten specialty restaurants. The Class A commercial office building sits on 12 acres, features on-site parking for over 1,000 cars and offers 170,000 square feet of office space.
