Flex ticket package provides ability to customize tournament experience and makes great holiday gift offering for basketball fans
Tournament returns to Times Union Center in Albany, NY, March 2-6
ALBANY, NY; – Flex ticket packages to the 2017 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships are currently on sale.
The popular basketball tournament, featuring Canisius, Fairfield, Iona, Manhattan, Marist, Monmouth, Niagara, Quinnipiac, Rider, Siena and St. Peter’s, will return to Times Union Center in Albany, NY, on March 2-6.
Flex ticket packages include four tickets redeemable for any open seat during any session of the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, including both championship games. The tickets may be utilized for four seats to one session, one seat for four sessions, or any ensuing combination to enable fans to tailor the tournament experience to meet their needs.
“A flex ticket package is the perfect holiday gift for fans of MAAC basketball who would like to attend multiple men’s and women’s games during the tournament in Albany,” said MAAC Commissioner Richard Ensor. “Flex ticket packages allow ticketholders to customize and personalize their MAAC Basketball Championship experience. Fans can use the tickets for a single game or may spread them out over multiple rounds for men’s basketball, women’s basketball, or both.”
“The flex ticket package provides basketball fans with a great opportunity to follow their favorite men’s and women’s teams through each round of the tournament,” said Bob Belber, general manager of the Times Union Center. “We encourage our fans to take advantage of the flexibility and various incentives that these new ticket packages afford.”
Two sets of flex ticket packages, each comprised of four tickets, are available for this year’s tournament. The first package provides access to any open seat during any session and is $150. The second package provides access to any open seat in the lower level corners and end zones and is $100.

All-session passes are also available for fans seeking admission to additional games in the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship. All-session passes, which grant access to all 20 games of the men’s and women’s tournament, are $97, $122, $167 and $227.
