Amanda Lecce oversees ELA’s special events and consumer shows division which manages, produces and coordinates a wide range of high-profile events including consumer trade expos, promotions, fundraising galas, and social events.
Amanda manages and coordinates all aspects of event planning from conceptualization to on-site event execution.
Among her projects, Amanda serves as the point-person for the Albany Ski & Snowboard Expo, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in November; the Great Northeast Home Show, the largest consumer trade expo in the Capital Region; and the recently announced Education Expo. She also spearheads over 20 special events and promotions for Saratoga Race Course including College Day, the 20th annual Hat Contest and Mid-Summer St. Patrick’s Day. Additionally, Amanda coordinates the official evening party for the Travers Stakes, the Travers Celebration, which has generated $1M for charity.
Amanda has been with ELA full-time since 2006, spending her first two years as the firm’s public relations and promotions coordinator before transitioning to event management director in September 2008. Prior to joining ELA full-time, Amanda interned with the firm for two summers, when she oversaw several of the agency’s summer events at Saratoga Race Course.
Amanda is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Communications with a Bachelor of Science degree in communications specializing in public relations.
Born and bred locally, Amanda is an unabashed Capital Region fan who enjoys good food, a glass of wine and great company. A truly dedicated special events coordinator, Amanda recently completed one of her most challenging special events out of the office – her September wedding. Amanda and her new husband Shane reside in Niskayuna.
